HP State Authority CAMPA

HP State Authority (CAMPA) is an autonomous body headed by an officer of the rank of Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest as CEO CAMPA and assisted by the Dy. Conservator of Forests as Jt. CEO.

Earlier

HP State CAMPA, constituted vide GoHP notification dated 03.08.2009, used to receive funds from central Adhoc CAMPA.

About HP State Authority CAMPA

• HP State Authority CAMPA and State Compensatory Afforestation Fund (SCAF) notified in HP vide notification No.FEB.F(2)8/2017 and No.FEB.F(2)8/2017(1) respectively on dated 04.02.2019.

• It functions through Governing Body, Steering Committee and an Executive Committee.

• The Governing Body, headed by Chief Minister, lays down broad policy framework and reviews its working from time to time.

• The Steering Committee, having Chief Secretary as its Chairperson, approves rules and procedures, monitors progress of fund utilization, and approves APO’s reports and accounts.

• The Executive Committee, headed by the PCCF (HoFF). HP, prepares and submits APOs to Steering committees for approval, supervise the implementation of works, submits reports to Steering Committee & prepares annual reports.
